magnetic fields around the bore
Is there a difference in the magnetic field distribution at the front and at the back of the magnet? Is this driven by the magnet's design?

Usually the magnets are designed to be symmetric and the fields in front and back will be same. But there are asymmetric MRI designed for specific applications such as head MRI which can have different levels of fields . |
