an unsolved artifect

MRI thigh was imaged under 3T MRI machine using T2 STIR and T1 TSE sequences, however a "dark shading" artifect was observed. I guessed it was due to dielectric effect in 3T or may be it is incorrect. May I ask what can I do to decrease this artifect ?

Without seeing the artifact, it is impossible to know what caused it or how to fix it. Most likely it is not dielectric, however.
