Gradient slice select and non-select

I was curious were to find in-depth information on slice select and non-select for 3D imaging? I know there is flow related enhance when using slice select option.

For anyone desiring to take the next step into more technical discussions about gradients and pulse sequences, the best resource is Handbook of MRI Pulse Sequences by Bernstein, King and Zhou. It is slightly out of date (2004) for some of the newest techniques, but still the best source. All MR physicists I know have this in their libraries. Chapter 5 will answer your questions.
