Do two consecutive 90º pulses produce a Spin Echo - Mauede - 05-02-2017 01:12 AM

Let's assume a first 90º pulse till the net M so as its Mxy components start precessing on the XY pane.
If then another 90º pulse is applied then maybe the dephased spins will start rephrasing again but where will the net M be pointing ? Spontaneously I would think along the Z_axis antiparallel with respect to B0. If this is correct then I wonder whether a spin echo will be generated as a result of these two 90º successive pulses.

Thank you in advance for your answer.
