Anyone with experience with SSFSE in brain imaging?
My radiologist recently asked if we could do a rapid single-shot fast spin echo for a 16 year old girl with history of hydrocephalus and s/p shunt placement to evaluate for shunt patency.
I work on a 1.5T GE HDx scanner. I did not see any SSFSE sequences in our site protocols and could also not discern if there were any in the list of GE protocols.
Are my gradients set up to handle this sequence? How would I go about creating the appropriate protocol?
We could not do her mri procedure so she was referred for CT imaging. I'm hoping to get a protocol in place for the future. Any input is appreciated
