Unfortunately, the MRIQuestions.com forum became unmanageable due to spam attacks. I recommend an alternative resource: www.imagingQA.com

Hello there,

I am new researcher in medical imaging area and I have read a lot of stuff about different modalities, but now I've got a question that couldn't find answer. Huh Can any body help me about this? your help would be deeply appreciated.

I read about T1- and T2-FLAIR MRI, but I don't know what "FLAIR" alone means! Is it something between T1- and T2-FLAIRs? or It's one them which is shortly called FLAIR?

I am looking forward to your kind reply Blush
Best,
N
Just check the following link to a Q&A on the main web site.
http://mriquestions.com/t1-flair.html
The next question in line discusses T2-FLAIR.
